Love Yourself

Have you ever felt like you’re not good enough? That you’re not beautiful? I believe that everyone is beautiful in their own way. I hate seeing girls put themselves down for not having the perfect body or the prettiest face. No one should be put down for not being perfect because honestly, who is? No one is perfect, but everyone is beautiful and that is something that we should all notice. 

I, myself have been very insecure for many years. I put myself down a lot even though I know that I shouldn’t. I know I’m not the only one that thinks this way because I’ve seen many girls put themselves down for the same reason.  We get called fat or ugly just because we don’t add up to society’s expectations. Society perfect girl is a curvy, skinny, small waist, big thighs, tall, and a perfect face. There is no woman in this world that looks like that. Everyone has something different, everyone is beautiful but society has made us girls think that we aren’t.

Girls will do anything to be accepted by society. They will pay thousands of dollars to fix their bodies so that they won’t feel insecure. We need to realize that everyone has flaws. We have to learn to accept ourselves and forget about society’s standards. I’ve learn to ignore when people insult me because I know they say it because that’s what society has made them believe. Even if a girl were to love there selves they still get insulted. You’ll get called conceited, or people will say, “Why does she think she’s pretty? She’s so ugly”.

          Even the most beautiful girl has her flaws. I see girls that won’t even step a foot outside because they don’t have make up on. I don’t understand why girls do that. Why can’t we accept ourselves the way God made us?  There’s nothing wrong with having flaws. Just be yourself, because the only person it should matter to is you! You aren’t born to please anyone.
